Yes, Jemma had just created a youtube account and has uploaded a video with Matt Prokop and Justin Martin. And not only did she upload a video, but she also made a blog where all her fans can ask questions about her career and stuff. And to clear thing, Jemma doesn’t have a fan myspace. Why do you think High School Musical is so popular?
High School Musical is all about people from different backgrounds coming together and doing what they love most no matter what people think and I think the film has inspired children all over the world to get into singing and dancing too and find a new way of expressing themselves through performing.

How did you get into acting?
I’ve always wanted to perform since I was a little girl making my parents watch me recite the latest Spice Girls routine! So when I was 10 I was watching a programme on TV about the Sylvia Young Theatre School and begged my parents to let me audition. I won a placement at the school later that year and have acted ever since.

What was it like filming in the US?
It was so much fun but absolutely exhausting! The schedule was tough – filming from morning till night makes a day at school seem like a breeze in comparison! Luckily the rest of the cast and crew had loads of great advice for keeping fit and healthy so I could keep up with the more experienced cast members.

School Food Team High School Musicla 3 Site had an interview with Jemma McKenzie Brown and shared us the first part of the interview. Read below:

We managed to grab a few minutes with Jemma McKenzie-Brown, the new star of High School Musical 3: Senior Year, and quizzed her on the movie, her diet, and what she does to keep fit.

What was it like finding out you’d landed a role in High School Musical 3?
I was so excited when I heard the news I screamed and immediately rang up all my best mates to tell them! To be a part of such a phenomenon is an amazing opportunity and I am incredibly grateful.

What do your friends think/say about it?
They were all really pleased for me and were just as excited as I was as we were all fans of the first two films. I remember before the first movie came out in England, my friends and I already knew most of the songs and were singing along in the cinema! It didn’t matter because everybody else was too!

As you seem to be a really big fan of Jemma McKenzie Brown and High School Musical 3, I thought you’d be interested in a website that we’ve been putting together.

There’s a competition on the site called Dining Hall Disco that’s open to anyone at school in England, where the top prize is a High School Musical 3 themed Valentine’s Day prom.

We’ve also got a really cool Dance Maker game, where you can plan out a dance routine on screen and then send it to all your friends by email or instant messenger.
