Biography

Jemma McKenzie-Brown is from the town of Hull in Yorkshire, London, England. Through the past few years Jemma has attended Sylvia Young Theatre School. Although she’d been acting for a while, in 2006, Jemma landed her first professional acting role, playing Georgina Pritchard in “The Amazing Mrs. Pritchard”. In the television show, Georgina’s mom becomes Prime Minister, changing the lives of her daughters and her friends. Georgina, played by Jemma, is Mrs. Pritchard’s youngest daughter, who actually takes the political life quite well, and even helps with her mom’s campaign. The same cannot be said for her sister Emily, played by Carey Mulligan.

Other roles played by Jemma include Maroosia in “Old Peter’s Russian Tales”, “MI High”, and “The Monstrous Mother”.

The British actress got her big break with a role of Sharpay’s protégé Tiara in the 2008 tween movie High School Musical 3: Senior Year. Jemma will play Tiara in “High School Musical 3″, and fans of the movies are excited to see what this new character will bring to the show. Not much is known about the role, but I’m sure Jemma’s character will bring some great singing and dancing hijinx to East High School.
